What types of dietary consultations do you offer?

Online video or telephone consultations can be arranged via email or using the Contact form.

How do I pay and what’s included in the cost?

Payment is requested prior to the consultation. Fees can be found on the Services page. An invoice can be sent via email. Payments can also be arranged via private health care insurers.

What if I miss an appointment or arrive late to a video call?

Life doesn’t always go as planned and there are times when you may unexpectedly not be able to attend our scheduled meeting. In such events, please refer to the Terms of service.

Who don’t you see?

I do not provide dietary advice for children (paediatric care) as I do not have up to date experience in this area. If you require paediatric care, suitable registered dietitian’s can be recommended.

Do you do home visits?

Home visits are based on if you live locally. It is recommended an online consultation initially to gain a better understanding of what guidance you require and how best to achieve this.

Will you keep my private information safe?

Yes. Your privacy relating to your medical health will always be kept private and safe in accordance with legal regulations, please read the Privacy Policy relating to this.

Do you provide support for specific medical conditions?

Yes, specialised dietary advice in digestive disorders or cancer care are available. Healthy eating guidance and weight management is also available. Please view the Services page for more information.

How quickly will I see results?

It depends what results you are after…However, with the experience I have gained over the years I have worked in food and nutrition, the aim is to provide you with the the right tools to adapt your diet for better health both for your short and long term needs.

Can I get personalised dietary plans through your service?

Absolutely, each plan is crafted to suit your individual health requirements and lifestyle. Plans can include a breakdown of your daily nutritional requirements, sample menus for meal and snack ideas and clear time framed goals to track your progress.

I’m not a good cook, does that matter?

I have met many people who confess they are not great in the kitchen… The discussions we have are not to judge your cooking skills but to give practical help on how the meals you make could be improved to not only taste better but be better for your health.

Will you recommend supplements?

Your diet will be carefully assessed and if it is felt there are nutritional inadequacies, an over the counter supplement may be recommended as a short term solution, but I’m a firm believer in real food first and will only advise on what is scientifically robust. Supplements are exactly that, they supplement the diet if needed. My aim will always be to focus on improving your diet.
